This is one of those appetizer that can be done with everythings you have in the fridge, the  important  part is just the right mix of ingredients, so today I propose this to you, but  I have other ideas, so the next time who knows?

With caramelized onions and brie cheese: easy, fast, good, economic but very effective ….

Ingredients per 4
1 puff pastry
100 grams Brie
2 red onions
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
E.V.O. Oil
1 / 2 cup water
½ cup red wine
salt
How it works:
In a saucepan, cook with oil finely chopped onions, when they are soft add the wine and cook for 5 minutes. Pour the water and cook for 10 minutes. Add the sugar stir well and cook for 5 minutes more. Add  balsamic vinegar and salt, cook 2 minutes more. Turn off and keep it aside. Roll out the puff pastry and with a knife cut 8 squares of the same size , with a fork prick the squares and use also the remaining pastry , cook everything in the oven for 7 to 8 minutes at 180 degrees. Cut the Brie into thin slices. Build the Leaves: 1 square on top onion, one slice of brie and then again 1 square, onion and brie. One is done. Build the other 3 and garnish with the over pastry crumbled on top. Cook in a hot oven for 5 minutes, just to melt the Brie a little.
